Thank you so very much to the Penticton Oldtimers Hockey Club for directing the proceeds of their Legacy Fund to the Dragonfly Pond Family Society!    The donation to DFP was for $1183.31, and goes a long way to helping us run the programs that we do.  Without generous local groups such as the Penticton Oldtimers Hockey Club, we simply could not have the reach that we do.   We look forward to a bright future for our families, and to welcoming many more into our network through the years.

Thank you to the Community Foundation South Okanagan Similkameen (CFSOS) for the incredible work they do in the community allowing groups such as the POHC have a format to collect and disperse funds as needed throughout the community.

On Sat, October 5, we hosted a fundraiser at the COBS Riverside location with fresh made scones by donation, and Coffee from Starbucks Riverside by donation. We also had our Raffle Tickets for sale. Our Uniquely Fashionable Fashion Show youth participants were on hand to run the fundraiser and speak to the public about our event. Traci F. organized and ran the fundraiser, very successfully!

Thanks to everyone who came out! We raised $264.31 in donations to our Fashion Show for the Youth participants, and sold $235 in Raffle Tickets!

Sept 20 and 21st 2019 at the Ski and Snowboard Swap, we held our annual BBQ fundraiser. Thanks to the Penticton Firefighters and our Volunteers. We sold lots of Raffle tickets for our Fashion Show Raffle, and brought in almost $700 with the BBQ proceeds! These funds support our programs that run throughout the year.
We want to thank our donors for their contributions: Buns from Wouda’s Bakery and South Main Market, Food and drinks from Save-On-Foods and Real Canadian Superstore, Smokies from A & K Grimm’s Sausage, and burgers from T-Bone’s Fresh Meal Market
