Respitality

Respitality is a unique respitality program that brings community based businesses, and service providers together to provide families with supportive respite evenings.

The concept, developed in Victoria, involves hotels, restaurants, and entertainment businesses donating services to Dragonfly Pond Family respite Society, for distribution to families. Parents then can enjoy an evening on the town, to relax and rejuvenate themselves. 

This program has been developed in Penticton, and now is being expanded to include all the communities in our region. The goal is to be able offer the Respitality Program to these communities by 2010.
